Anthony Drazan
For over 20 years Drazan has produced, written and directed independently financed movies and mainstream television. His directing credits include Venice Film Festival Volpi trophy winner HURLYBURLY, a stage play written by and adapted for the screen by David Rabe; IMAGINARY CRIMES, a screen adaptation of Sheila Ballantine’s memoir; Sundance Film Festival Filmmakers Trophy winner ZEBRAHEAD based on his original screenplay. He has also made a living as a screenwriter for hire, a “script doctor” and teaching graduate screenwriting and film directing classes at AFI, NYU, and Columbia University. In the last few years, Drazan has performed LEAKS, THE NOD, WORKS IN PROGRESS, loosely scripted monologues improvised on stage at NY’s Cherry Lane Theatre, the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, night clubs and other regional venues across the U.S.. Currently he is preparing to shoot a first episode of SHRINK RAP, a comedic series about a well intentioned but unreliable healer. Healer or Heel? Shaman or Sham?
