College Unbound is an innovative, degree-granting college for adults who have faced barriers to completing their Bachelor’s degree. CU specializes in getting students on a path to a degree, keeping you focused on that goal, and supporting you in every way necessary to achieve it.

College Unbound helps adults re-enter and stay in college and get their Bachelor of Arts degree. The academic content and instruction build on earlier studies and life experience.CU is a non-profit educational institution in Providence, Rhode Island focused on adult learners.Our students are aged 19-65, part of the 128,000 adults in Rhode Island with some college but no degree. Most of our students have attended multiple colleges, both in person and online. Our students need to be able to attend college full-time while working fulltime and raising families. The majority make less than 45,000 per year, qualifying for Pell grants and federal loans.Your interests and the needs of your workplace and community are part of your educational program. Learning takes place in the classroom, online, with peers, in the workplace, and your local community.
